The Austrian-born virtual operator spusu enters the Swiss mobile market by launching four affordable mobile subscriptions on the Salt network.
For those who are not familiar, spusu is a European virtual mobile operator established in Austria in 2015. After its expansion into the Italian (2020) and British markets (2023), spusu has decided to launch its offer in Switzerland starting from August 2024.
spusu's goal is to be a simple, human, and honest operator. Therefore, you will find these characteristics in the services offered:
Customer service is 100% managed by human operators, without the use of bots or chats. The call center is operated from Winterthur and is therefore entirely Swiss.
The subscriptions have no hidden costs or contractual obligations: you pay what you subscribe to, not a franc more or less (except for any usage of data or minutes on a pay-per-use basis).
The network is reliable and fast, including SALT's 5G in all subscriptions by default. Each subscription also includes free GB and minutes for use in the EU and UK.
For those who wish to activate spusu, the only option currently is to visit the operator's website, but soon it will be possible to purchase spusu SIMs in stores as well. Once you purchase the SIM, it will be delivered by mail or via email if you opt for an eSIM.
spusu subscription prices start at 9.90 CHF and go up to 49.90 CHF for the most expensive subscription with more GB in roaming.
